Unii spun c\u0103 am \u00eenceput s\u0103 fim moderni \u00eenc\u0103 de la prima Rena\u015ftere european\u0103, cea francez\u0103 din secolul al XII-lea. Al\u0163ii spun c\u0103 modernitatea noastr\u0103 a \u00eenceput o dat\u0103 cu a doua Rena\u015ftere european\u0103, cea italian\u0103 din secolele XV \u015fi XVI. <!--more-->Dar sunt \u015fi al\u0163ii care sunt de p\u0103rere c\u0103 nu am \u00eenceput s\u0103 fim moderni dec\u00e2t o dat\u0103 cu a treia Rena\u015ftere european\u0103 \u2013 \u015fi a doua francez\u0103 \u2013 din secolul al XVII-lea. Sunt \u00eens\u0103 \u015fi cei care sunt de acord c\u0103 modernitatea noastr\u0103 a \u00eenceput abia \u00een secolul al XVIII-lea, c\u00e2nd Rena\u015fterea, anterior diseminat\u0103 \u00een mai multe rena\u015fteri na\u0163ionale, s-a subsumat primului, \u00een ordine strict cronologic\u0103, Iluminism pan-european. \u015ei, ca lucrurile s\u0103 nu r\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 chiar at\u00e2t de <em>pu\u0163in<\/em> \u00eencurcate, sunt \u015fi al\u0163ii care spun despre acela\u015fi secol al XVIII-lea c\u0103 abia el a ini\u0163iat modernitatea noastr\u0103, dar nici ca un fel de a patra Rena\u015ftere european\u0103, nici ca un fel de al treilea Neo-Clasicism European (primul mai fiind numit, de unii, \u015fi Rena\u015fterea italian\u0103, care a fost a doua Rena\u015ftere european\u0103 \u015fi, \u00een consecin\u0163\u0103, primul Neo-Clasicism european), ci, dimpotriv\u0103, ca unicul timp modern al nostru. Ace\u015ftia spun c\u0103 suntem deja postmoderni. Dar unii spun c\u0103 am intrat \u00een postmodernitate \u00eenc\u0103 de c\u00e2nd a izbucnit Primul R\u0103zboi mondial (<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\" lang=\"EN\">Arnold Joseph Toynbee<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: RO;\" lang=\"RO\">: 1939), mai numit \u015fi Ultimul R\u0103zboi european, la \u00eentret\u0103ierea dintre cel mai lung \u015fi cel mai scurt secol al istoriei (<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\" lang=\"EN\">Eric John Ernest Hobsbawm<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: RO;\" lang=\"RO\">: 1962; 1975; 1994), dar tot ace\u015fti al\u0163ii ce spun c\u0103 am fi intrat \u00een a noastr\u0103 postmodernitate abia din 1914 au spus \u015fi c\u0103, de fapt, am fi \u00eenceput s\u0103 fim postmoderni chiar din 1875 (Arnold Joseph Toynbee: 1946) \u00een plina ascensiune istoriografic\u0103 a tradi\u0163ionalei <em>Belle Epoque<\/em>, mult mai mult \u015fi anti-modern\u0103 \u015fi deci chiar deloc pro-postmodern\u0103. Al\u0163ii, cu totul al\u0163ii, sunt de p\u0103rere c\u0103 am \u00eenceput s\u0103 fim postmoderni numai dup\u0103 1970 (Michael Koehler: 1977) \u015fi c\u0103 sub nicio form\u0103 nu am fi putut fi la fel de postmoderni \u015fi cu un deceniu \u00eenainte, pentru c\u0103 \u00een anii 60 ai secolului al XX-lea modernitatea \u00eens\u0103\u015fi era fie <em>ultra-modern\u0103<\/em>, fie <em>t\u00e2rzie<\/em>, iar pentru al\u0163ii, diferi\u0163i de primii al\u0163ii, dar \u015fi de al\u0163ii secunzi, chiar <em>revolu\u0163ionar\u0103<\/em>, pentru c\u0103 ace\u015fti al\u0163i ter\u0163iari sunt convin\u015fi c\u0103 am intrat cu adev\u0103rat \u00een postmodernitate abia la sf\u00e2r\u015fitul deceniului al VII-lea al secolului al XX-lea, c\u00e2nd lumea a f\u0103cut cuno\u015ftin\u0163\u0103 cu revoltele studen\u0163e\u015fti din SUA \u015fi mai ales din postbelicul<em> ancien r\u00e9gime<\/em> din Fran\u0163a lui Charles de Gaulle. Bine\u00een\u0163eles, mai sunt \u015fi cu totul al\u0163ii care spun c\u0103, de fapt, postmodernitatea noastr\u0103 a \u00eenceput prin anii 80 ai secolului al XX-lea, \u00een momentul \u00een care, de exemplu, consumismul s-a maturizat sau numai dup\u0103 ce nimic din ini\u0163ialul proiect modern al primului iluminism european, care a fost cel de-al treilea Neo-Clasicism european, care a fost, probabil, cea de-a patra Rena\u015ftere european\u0103, nu a mai putut fi salvat. Abia c\u00e2nd, zic ace\u015ftia, a noastr\u0103 postmodernitate s-a <em>decuplat<\/em> cu totul de la trenul modernit\u0103\u0163ii noastre \u015fi nu prea, a putut ea s\u0103 devin\u0103 cu adev\u0103rat \u015fi \u00een mod autonom postmodernitatea noastr\u0103 curent\u0103.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: RO;\" lang=\"RO\">Din p\u0103cate, al\u0163ii i-au contrazis pe al\u0163ii \u015fi au zis c\u0103 postmodernitatea nu s-a decuplat deloc de modernitate \u015fi \u00eenc\u0103 face parte din ea, dar ca o <em>fa\u0163\u0103<\/em> (Matei C\u0103linescu: 1987) a sa, cea mai t\u00e2rzie, iar, \u00een acest caz, cu c\u00e2t postmodernitatea era, fie \u015fi \u00een calitate de <em>fa\u0163\u0103<\/em> a modernit\u0103\u0163ii, mai t\u00e2rzie, cu at\u00e2t devenea ea mai nou\u0103 \u00een raport cu modernitatea c\u0103reia, de fapt, \u00eei era \u00eenc\u0103 subordonat\u0103. \u015ei mai sunt \u015fi al\u0163ii, cu totul al\u0163ii dec\u00e2t to\u0163i al\u0163ii \u00een\u015fira\u0163i p\u00e2n\u0103 acum, care au o cu totul alt\u0103 p\u0103rere: ace\u015ftia cred c\u0103, deja \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu 2000, modernitatea noastr\u0103 nu mai poate fi nici de felul ultimului tip al modernit\u0103\u0163ii noastre, cea iluminist\u0103 sau renascentist\u0103 de gradul patru sau neo-clasic\u0103 de grad ter\u0163iar, \u00een ordine strict cronologic\u0103, dar nici nu ar mai putea modernitatea noastr\u0103 s\u0103 fie postmodernist\u0103, fiindc\u0103 cel mai nou mod de-a fi modern, postmodernul, s-ar fi \u00eenvechit cam \u00een ultimul deceniu al secolului al XX-lea \u015fi ar fi devenit chiar vechi \u015fi, \u00een consecin\u0163\u0103, <em>clasic<\/em> (Nicolae Manolescu: 2008). Concluzia e c\u0103 postmodernitatea, care a debutat \u00een calitate de cea mai nou\u0103 variant\u0103 a vechii noastre modernit\u0103\u0163i, a sf\u00e2r\u015fit sau continu\u0103 \u00eenc\u0103 s\u0103 sf\u00e2r\u015feasc\u0103 ca cea mai veche parte nou\u0103 a ei.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; mso-ansi-language: RO; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\" lang=\"RO\">Modernitatea este, de fapt, o himer\u0103 istoric\u0103 \u015fi teoretic\u0103, mai veche \u015fi dec\u00e2t pare \u015fi \u00eemb\u0103tr\u00e2nit\u0103 excesiv \u00een ai ei ne\u00eentrerup\u0163i <em>corsi e ricorsi<\/em> (Giambattista Vico: 1725), care au uzat-o conceptual at\u00e2t de mult \u00eenc\u00e2t nici chiar postmodernitatea ei <em>complementar\u0103<\/em>, <em>opus\u0103<\/em> sau <em>decuplat\u0103<\/em> n-o mai poate salva de la moartea sigur\u0103 ce ar fi trebuit de fapt s\u0103 o cuprind\u0103 \u00eenc\u0103 de acum 250 de ani, c\u00e2nd \u00eenc\u0103 se mai zb\u0103tea s\u0103 fie absolut <em>modern\u0103<\/em> (Jonathan I.
